Travel has been a part of human beings right from their origin. Basically, traveling is nothing but a process of moving from one place to other in search of food, accommodation or something else that you would need to survive. But the concept and the meaning has drastically changed with the advancement in technology and the human mind set. Traveling has been adapted extensively by business people who travel in order to promote their business which apparently means that they are in search of money using which they can get their food and accommodation.

Few others travel for their hobby. Many travelers travel as hey like to do it, that is visiting different places, discovering new places, culture, the local people’s habitat, etc. People also travel on vacations. Days out of their places, usual schedules and routine life makes them feel better and kind of ease their life putting all their tensions and stress off. There are also travelers who travel to have some adventure. In this process, most of them have some exciting incidents, they even discover new places and ways and some others have very bad experiences which they would never forget in their lives.

Various other reasons for travel can be: an official trip, pilgrimages and research. Official trips are unavoidable for certain group of working people, for example for those who are into marketing. These business people travel long distances to places wherever they have already existing business links or to new places where they prospects. One more group of people who travel more are those who travel on pilgrimage. Their strong religious beliefs are the root causes which motivate them to travel to different places irrespective of the distance, weather condition and the families that are available there.

Migration can also be called a type of travel in which people travel from their native places to a new place in order to settle there vacating their native places completely. This can either be permanent or temporary migration depending on the scenario they are in. Yet another type of traveling is traveling for research purposes. These people are mostly researchers, research assistants and they also might be media professionals who wander around in order to collect some worth while information for their news or commercial media related programs. The above discussed are the main categories involved with traveling. There might be combinations of these as well. But basically, the idea behind traveling is to discover something new in the new place we visit whether it be food, accommodation, business or adventure.
